We solicit proposals for tutorials and short courses to be held in conjunction with the CSoNet 2026 conference.
The goal of tutorials is to provide attendees with a comprehensive and in-depth overview of emerging or foundational topics that are not fully covered in the main conference. Tutorials should aim to be educational and accessible to a wide audience including graduate students, researchers, and practitioners from academia and industry. We welcome proposals for both half-day and full-day events.
Given the increasing interest and limited time slots, tutorial proposals should clearly articulate their relevance, uniqueness, audience, and viability. Proposals will be reviewed based on topic importance, expected impact, and credentials of the organizers.
Submission Guidelines
Tutorial proposals should be submitted in PDF format (maximum of 2 pages excluding bios) to the Tutorial Chair by email.
Proposals should include the following:
- Tutorial title
- Names, titles, affiliations, emails, and brief bios of all proposers
- Preference for half-day or full-day format
- Course description, a list of topics, schedule/outline, and key details
- Primary subject area and up to 5 secondary areas (e.g., “graph diffusion”, “network econometrics”, “anomaly detection”)
- Expected target audience (background, size)
- Up to 10 citations/URLs of relevant work and background materials
- Special space or equipment requests (note: availability is limited)
